Show Recap: Celerant’s 20th year exhibiting at the firearm’s largest industry show

Changing Shopping Trends and Business Ownership

At the event, diverse attendees, including younger generations and women, as demonstrated by 'Women of the Gun,' discussed technology's increasing influence as a driving force in the firearm retail industry. Younger generations are adopting digital strategies such as social media, digital marketing, and mobile apps, while older owners are adjusting their approaches, signaling a transformative trend in business operations. Additionally, there's a notable shift towards electronic bound books, cloud storage of 4473's, and integrations with distributors among dealers.

New Distributor Integrations for Dealers and Type 07 FFL Manufacturers

Celerant showcased its all-in-one FFL point of sale, eCommerce and digital bound book software, new support for Type 07 FFLs and its distributor integrations at the show as well. This past year, Celerant expanded its available distributor catalog by adding suppliers such as Crow Shooting Supply, MGE, Gunarama, TGD and coming later this month, Orion Wholesale. Dealers learned how they can save time and sell more products by leaning on their distributors to help automate processes. Also this past year, Celerant has expanded its offering to now support firearms manufacturers within its retail software, as well as within its integration to FastBound’s A&D solution.
