Designed to be lightweight and strong, the A12 Magnesium reels are built on a magnesium frame with carbon and aluminum features. Anglers will enjoy hours of easy casting with these reels.

Two sizes are offered with each available in three color options. The A12 2000 and A12 3000 models feature the premium magnesium frame that anchors the lightweight reel’s design. To complement the magnesium lightweight construction, the reels include an aluminum pinion gear and main shaft, machined aluminum one-piece bail, machined aluminum spool, carbon composite rotor and reversible carbon-fiber handle arm.

The 6.2:1 gear ratio adds the element of speed for a wider range of lure retrieval presentations. The 10+1 stainless steel bearings are built for smooth cranking and the zero-play anti-reverse and adjustable carbon-fiber drag system keeps the angler in command while fighting fish. Soft padded grips on the handle provide security and control even when wet.

The A12 2000 Magnesium spinning reel weighs 7.2 ounces while the 3000 weighs 7.8 ounces. The reels are available in sharp looking black-and-gold, silver-and-gold and charcoal-and-silver finishes. The 2000 size reels have a line capacity of 160 yards of 8-pound test monofilament or 165 yards of 10-pound braid. The 3000 size can be spooled with 160 yards of 10-pound test monofilament or 165 yards of 20-pound test braid.
