AGM continues to flex its new product development muscle by releasing their long-awaited ReachIR LRF thermal monoculars, which is no less than their fourth new product family released in the last quarter. The NEW ReachIR thermal monoculars are the first to combine highly-sought after modern technological features, including, but not limited to: 1,000yd full-integrated laser rangefinder, sub-20mk 12 micron thermal sensitivity, an auto-display off tilt sensor, non-proprietary 18650 battery power, 64GB of internal media storage, wifi hotspot capability and newly optimized image processing algorithms.
The ReachIR’s also utilize a robust new magnesium alloy housing, to support both commercial and law enforcement durability tests. Combine those physical properties with a tried-and-true ergonomic housing, and the new ReachIR units are sure to be a hit. AGM strategically placed the new 1000yd laser rangefinder module directly underneath the germanium lens assembly so that neither left or right-handed operators would find their hands interfering with the unit’s ranging capabilities.
The ReachIR LRF product family will consist of (3) different lens/sensor configurations:
The ReachIR is designed to be as flexible as it is rugged, and its list of potential applications is as long as its list of firmware functionality. Whether you’re an avid hunter, law enforcement professional, search & rescue team member or traditional outdoorsman, the ReachIR will be a great solution when cutting through darkness with incredible detail is the end goal in your selected pursuit.
