Walther Arms Appoints Don Angle as General Manager – LEMG

Fort Smith, AR – Walther Arms and Umarex USA are pleased to announce that Don Angle has joined the company as General Manager – LEMG (Law Enforcement, Military, Government).

Don brings extensive experience to the UX/WA team, most recently serving as Sales Manager for the Law Enforcement channel at Trijicon. In that role, he led the establishment and growth of the LE channel, successfully developing significant market opportunities for the premium optics manufacturer.

To better serve professional users, Walther Arms and Umarex USA are unifying their business development efforts into a single, dedicated team focused exclusively on the Law Enforcement, Military, Government, and Corrections markets. This combined team will represent both Umarex and Walther brands and product lines developed for the professional user including UMX, P2P Professional, T4E, and Walther. Don Angle will lead this newly integrated team and drive the companies' expanded focus in these critical sectors.

Prior to his ten-year tenure at Trijicon — a recognized leader in high-end optics for law enforcement, military, and commercial markets — Don is a highly accomplished leader with over two decades of distinguished service in the U.S. Army, military contracting, high-threat protective operations, and executive management in the defense and firearms industries. Don excelled in demanding roles that honed his expertise in leadership, tactics, and mission execution. He later served as High Threat Protection Detail Leader and Operations Manager for Xe Services in Kabul, Afghanistan (2010–2013), where he led an 18-person Ambassador Protective Detail under the Worldwide Protective Services Program. He managed all protective security operations, conducted threat assessments and route planning, coordinated with U.S. and allied military forces, and ensured the safety of high-value personnel in austere environments.

Today, Don applies his extensive operational experience, proven leadership, and deep understanding of tactical equipment and training to his role at Walther Arms, Inc. He remains a trusted expert and advocate for military, law enforcement, and shooting sports communities.
