Dead Air to Display at 2026 GTOA Annual Training Conference

Dead Air, a leader in the firearm suppressor and tactical accessories industry, announces its support at the Georgia Tactical Officer Association (GTOA) Annual Training Conference, taking place March 15-20, 2026, in Columbus, Georgia. The Georgia Tactical Officers Association provides officers and agencies in Georgia the latest training courses and resources to enhance tactical operations and improve preparedness for the challenges faced by special operations units.

Dead Air's new AR-15 suppressor at the event this year is the CT5P, developed specifically for patrol officers running semi-automatic duty rifles and delivering compact, hard-use performance for rifles chambered in 5.56 NATO and 6mm ARC. The CT5P eliminates the HUB rear interface to create a shorter, lighter suppressor that excels in demanding environments where reduced length, light weight, and reliability matter most. Its advanced Triskelion® baffle design and integrated Gas Management System reduce backpressure and gas to the shooter while maintaining smooth cycling on both direct-impingement and piston-driven rifles.

The AR-15 silencer also significantly cuts muzzle flash—even on barrels as short as 10.5 inches—helping preserve night vision during low-light operations while minimizing visual signature through enhanced exterior heat dissipation. Engineered for strong acoustic performance that remains below OSHA impulse noise standards, the CT5P improves communication and situational awareness in close quarters. Built to withstand hard use and full-auto fire, it weighs just 13 ounces in direct-thread configuration, measures 5.5 by 1.6 inches, and comes finished in high-temp Cerakote (black or FDE) with a fixed 1/2-28 mount, TL001 installation tool, and compatibility with Dead Air's Xeno and KeyMo mounting systems.

Dead Air will be on-site to answer questions, offer detailed product insights, and discuss the full range of Dead Air silencers suitable for various law enforcement applications.
