EOTECH, Easterseals Partner On Mental Health Matters Movement

Easterseals Michigan recognizes the ever-growing need for mental health services and that is why they have partnered with EOTECH to launch the Mental Health Matters Movement to encourage people to take a free, anonymous mental health screening.

"EOTECH is committed to giving back to our community through worthwhile initiatives. When you consider that every 40 seconds a person dies by suicide it makes this mission even more critical. In the time it takes a person to take this quick, anonymous screening, 3 people have lost their lives and that's why it’s critical we do our part to get the word out" said Lisa Kemp, Director of Marketing. "Timely mental health treatment is the key to ending this tragedy, and we encourage anyone who might need help to take advantage of this free screening."

For every mental health screening taken through the Easterseals Michigan website through November 11th, EOTECH will generously donate $1 to help the organization reach and surpass its goal of 5,000 people screened.

"Behavioral health is a key part of your overall well-being. Brief screenings are the quickest way to determine if you or someone you care about should connect with a behavioral health professional," says Easterseals Michigan. "This program is completely anonymous and confidential, and immediately following the brief questionnaire, the results, recommendations, and key resources will be available."
