Camfour and Hill Country Wholesale (Camfour) are pleased to announce that Desmond Lee has joined the leadership team as Controller and Jonathan Corns has joined the team as a sales representative.

As Controller, Desmond Lee is responsible for Camfour’s financial and administrative functions, including accounting, financial reporting, audit, human resources, and IT.

Prior to Camfour, he was the Controller at MD Stetson Company, responsible for the financial leadership of a growing manufacturing and distribution firm in the janitorial supply and equipment industry. Before that, from 2013 to 2016, he served as Controller at Harbour Food Service Equipment, a Boston-based restaurant equipment and re-supply business serving the leading restaurants in the Greater Boston area.

Desmond is passionate about helping build a collaborative understanding between the finance/accounting department and the other operational units within a company to provide exceptional value and a high return to internal and external stakeholders.

Desmond received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Government from Dartmouth College.

Jonathan Corns has been hired as a sales representative for Texas and the surrounding states. He had most recently spent the last 16 years with AcuSport as a Senior Sales Professional

When starting with AcuSport, Corns worked out of his house covering retailers in Texas. In 2005, AcuSport opened a new office in Arlington, Corns moved in to help open the new location and train new hires. Corns moved up the sales latter quickly due to his motivation, work ethic and his relationships with his retailers.

Corns also had previous experience at the distributor level.

He joined RSR in 1987 as a Sales Representative and was shortly promoted to Assistant Manager and then Regional Sales Manager before leaving in 1996.

Camfour and Hill Country Wholesale are distributors of firearms, ammunition and accessories for the shooting sports industry with distribution centers in Westfield, MA and Pflugerville, TX.
