Pulsar is introducing Firmware Update 2.5 with some important new features for the Merger LRF thermal imaging binocular line. Update your Merger LRF now via the Stream Vision 2 mobile application to experience improved nighttime performance.
The new update will be compatible with the entire Merger LRF line. The newest Merger LRF XP35 model will start shipping with the latest FW version 2.5 by default.
Reduced Eye Fatigue
Once you update your Merger binoculars, you will be able to experience the same improvements that have already been introduced to the Telos thermal monocular line. For example, users can control the brightness of the entire display by choosing the Display Dimming option. This function significantly reduces eye fatigue when it is pitch black outside. It also makes you even less visible to animals.
Prolonged Battery Life
Considering that hunters spend a lot of time outdoors and long device operation is a huge advantage, an advanced battery-saving option has been implemented in all Merger units. After activating this function, the device will automatically turn off if not being used for more than 30 minutes. This will eliminate unnecessary battery drain and prolong the use of the binoculars.
More Language Options
Additionally, Pulsar has added a few new languages to the menu of the Merger. Options will now be available in Bulgarian, Finnish, Lithuanian, Latvian, and Ukrainian, as well as many other languages.
Some other minor updates include a red auto-calibration indication in the status bar of the device, as well as a green square border to improve visibility in Picture-in-picture mode. All these quality of life upgrades should result in a better, more efficient
