Dryshod, the new benchmark in performance waterproof footwear for outdoor recreation and occupational use, announces the company’s newest line of waterproof boots developed specifically for recreational anglers, commercial fishermen, maritime workers, or anyone whose work environment includes wet surfaces and slippery decks.
The Seamonster FLX is a 100-percent waterproof boot featuring Dryshod’s new Hiflex™ shell construction. This shell is comprised of thinner layers of neoprene and a high-durability, flexible formulation rubber that provides dependable waterproof performance while offering the freedom of movement and all-day comfort that is essential for deck work, processing floors, or anywhere wet working conditions are the norm.
As for traction in those wet conditions, the Seamonster FLX stands ready with its non-marring, natural rubber outsole formulated to promote grip on both wet and dry boat decks and ground surfaces.
Traction is further enhanced with Dryshod’s exclusive CROSSTAR™ micro-etched tread design. This is a technical tread configuration with strategically placed voids, channels, and “wipes” that ensure optimal sole-to-surface friction while channeling water away from the sole to disrupt water tension and prevent hydroplaning.
Keeping in mind the Seamonster FLX’s primary mission, the boot includes a raised heel and supporting steel shank to deliver positive footing when climbing ladders and working on uneven ground surfaces.
Additional features include a breathable airmesh lining for temperature/moisture regulation, Wix-It Cool Clad liner for warm-weather wear, reinforced toe, instep, heel, and perimeter foxing, easy-clean matte finish, molded EVA footbed, and a rigid heel kick for on/off convenience.
The Seamonster FLX comes in two styles: Mid, which covers half of the calf, and the over-calf adjustable Gusset model to accommodate larger calf sizes.
