Legacy Sports International Seeks COO

Legacy Sports International, a leading distributor/importer in the shooting sports industry, is seeking a COO [Chief Operating Officer] with in-depth knowledge of the shooting sports industry. The COO will partner with a very experienced and highly respected Board of Directors, to lead our firearms importation and distribution company into the next phase of its life as one of the premier firearms distributors in the US. The COO along with the President of Sales and Marketing, will manage the business collaboratively together. The Financial Controller, Purchasing Manager, Director HR/Compliance, and Director Warehouse Operations will report directly to the COO.

Executive applicants should have demonstrated the ability to be responsible for driving operational excellence through logistics, product, inventory controls, people, innovation standards with proven leadership skills, strong inter-personal skills and an understanding of importation into the US in compliance with ATF guidelines.

Preferred applicants are executives with strong P&L growth, revenue generation while improving ABITA year after year.

This role will reside in Reno, NV with US and International travel required. COO will develop future opportunities with the Board and assist the Fuller Global companies with continued development of its premium brands Howa, Citadel, Pointer, Puma, Southern Cross, and Nikko Stirling.

A very attractive remuneration package with KPI incentives is offered.

  • Must be a current or former operational executive (COO/EVPO/VP/GM )
  • Must have P&L experience while in a direct operational role
  • 10+ years of experience in the Shooting Sports Industry
  • A history of successful revenue growth
  • Ability to build a strong operations team
  • Understands industry know-how
  • Represents the company in all interactions with customers, government, and regulatory officials in a courteous and professional manner
