Bear Creek Arsenal has partnered with Weapon Works LLC, also located in North Carolina, for limited runs of cerakoted rifles. Cerakote is a great way to protect your firearm and give it the style you love. Cerakote is much more than paint; this unique polymer-ceramic can be applied to any metal, increasing its resistance to weather, rust, chemicals, dings, scratches, and even UV light. You can blend in with your surroundings with a camo cerakote or show off at the range with a customized design like our We The People rifles, or coming soon the Damascus Steel and USA Bear Claw Rifles.
Bear Creek Arsenal also does powder coating in-house. Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. Unlike conventional liquid paint, which is delivered via a solvent, powder coating is applied electrostatically and then cured under heat. The powder that we use is a thermoplastic, which is extremely tough and resistant to mechanical and chemical stress. It is used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint while preventing the heating of the handguard as quickly. Our powder coatings contain no solvents, release no amount of volatile organic compounds (VOC) into the atmosphere, and are halogen and BPA-free. BCA currently offers powder coating in Empire White, Flat Dark Earth, GI Textured Green, and more options coming in the future.
