Friends of NRA Announces Opening for Merchandise Coordinator

FAIRFAX, Va. — Friends of NRA is seeking a qualified candidate to join its team as a Merchandise Coordinator in Columbia, Missouri. This full-time, onsite position plays an important role in supporting merchandise purchasing, vendor relationships, inventory, and sales for Friends of NRA fundraising events held nationwide.

The Merchandise Coordinator works closely with the Procurement & Logistics Manager, NRA Field Representatives, vendors, and other members of the Friends of NRA team to help develop and manage merchandise programs that support successful fundraising events.

Key responsibilities include evaluating purchasing trends, coordinating merchandise and firearm orders, maintaining vendor relationships, assisting with new product development, resolving order and invoicing issues, tracking inventory, and supporting merchandise promotions and online auctions. The position also assists with annual merchandise selection meetings and national trade show preparations.

The Merchandise Coordinator position is based in Columbia, Missouri, and requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. An associate degree and at least two years of office experience are required. Experience with purchasing, sales, inventory management, or firearms is helpful.

Occasional weekend work and national travel may be required.
