This position will play a critical role in strengthening dealer relationships, driving revenue growth, and identifying new business opportunities within the wholesale channel.
Position Overview
The Account Representative position will be responsible for managing existing accounts while actively developing new customer relationships. This role requires a disciplined sales professional capable of meeting performance indicators tied to revenue growth, retention, and sales targets.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with current and prospective customers
- Ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction through proactive communication and account management
- Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, database mining, and cold calling
- Demonstrating and explaining product lines; recommending solutions tailored to customer needs
- Collaborating internally with purchasing and operations teams to ensure order accuracy and timely distribution
- Providing quotes, credit terms, and bid specifications
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of sales experience required, preferably within the firearms industry
- Demonstrated success in revenue growth and relationship management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Working knowledge of shooting sports and outdoor products
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
