With the newest firmware update 3.3, Pulsar is adding more versatility and ballistic options to its flagship thermal riflescopes line, the Thermion 2 LRF. After releasing the same update for the non-LRF versions, the brand is now enabling optional manual distance input in the LRF models. Just like the previously released firmware update for the Thermion 2 non-LRF line, its main goal is to enhance the precision of hunters as well as provide them with more options to choose from.
To start using ballistic calculations inside your Thermion 2 LRF riflescope, update your riflescope with the newest firmware via the Stream Vision 2 app and follow these steps:
If you updated your Thermion 2 LRF with Firmware version 3.3, you can now measure the distance to your target with the help of the integrated LRF or to manually input your distance to your target in the short menu of the device.
A suggested point of aim will be instantly visible on your riflescope’s screen.
With the newest Firmware update, you will also be able to use the display dimming function. Found in the main menu of your device, this option enables you to instantly control the brightness of all your display elements. This way, you will be able to minimize visual fatigue when it is pitch-black outside. It will also make you less noticeable to animals.
