Galco’s Yaqui Slide

Originally popularized by the late Col. Jeff Cooper of Gunsite Academy fame, the renowned Yaqui Slide was ushered into the modern era of holster design when Galco added a set of independent tension screw adjustments, allowing for a custom fit to the firearm and micro-adjustment of the draw stroke.

The minimalist design and near-vertical carry angle make the Yaqui Slide very fast on the draw while securing the firearm during everyday activity. It’s silhouetted, open-muzzle design is a favorite of those who own multiple barrel lengths of the same gun model. Another seldom-mentioned advantage of the Yaqui Slide is that it doesn’t look like a holster when the firearm is removed, as when entering a “non-permissive environment” for weapons.

Made to fit over 175 different pistols and revolvers, the Yaqui Slide is available in right or left hand designs and in tan or black finishes. Constructed of premium steerhide, it fits belts up to 1 3/4”.
