Content & Digital Media Experts Join Orchid

The shooting sports industry leader in FFL technology, payments and compliance services and solutions, Orchid LLC is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Joe Kriz, communications and inbound marketing manager, and Austin Alterio, graphics, website and video specialist. In their new roles, Kriz and Alterio will lead Orchid’s continued marketing efforts as the authority in FFL education and operations. Both formally joined the company in May 2021.

Working in outdoor media for the last four years, Kriz has held various marketing roles for notable public relations and media companies in the firearms industry. Most recently, he curated digital content and editorial as a digital content editor for FMG Publications. Kriz also works part-time at Bristlecone Shooting, Training & Retail Center, an NSSF 5-star shooting range near Denver, Colo.

Alterio brings over seven years of digital design, website development and video expertise to Orchid, recently serving as a multimedia specialist with Connecticut agency Telegraphic Brands. A multifaceted designer with a digital media degree and freelance experience, he has developed a broad creative skillset, specializing in animation, branding, HTML/CSS and SEO best practices.
