Are you passionate about the outdoors and shooting sports and do you enjoy interacting with people? If so, 1791 Outdoor Lifestyle Group is looking for you! The Territory Sales Representative (TSR) will be responsible for the Central Texas and Oklahoma territory.

TSRs must be prepared for an exciting opportunity with unlimited earning potential while educating customers and dealers on the key features and benefits of 1791’s products.

The position provides a generous base salary with uncapped commissions based on sales performance and requires 75%+ travel. A car allowance and travel expense reimbursement are offered as part of the position.

Candidates interested in joining the 1791 team should be successful in the following:

• Meeting and exceeding monthly sales goals through exceptional sales techniques and selling strategies.
• Making personal sales calls at established account base on a regular basis
• Working with accounts to effectively manage 1791 product inventory
• Seeking out prospective customers/business opportunities within existing and new accounts
• Staying current on existing and emerging product
• Introducing, demonstrating, and training retail sales associates on new products
• Managing and participating in consumer and retail promotional activities
• Completing visit and call reports, expense reports, in a timely basis
• Coordinating customer warranty returns and completes proper documentation
• Providing superior customer service to customers at all times by creating a positive and motivating environment.

Position Requirements

• • Developed knowledge of the outdoor and shooting sports industry
  • Proven proficiency in the use of a personal computer, tablet
  • A valid driver’s license and proven safe driving record
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats
  • Ability to take initiative without direction; self-starter
