Benelli USA announces the addition of the French gun manufacturer Chapuis to its portfolio of brands offered in the United States. The longtime producer of premium upland shotguns and big-game rifles joins Benelli, Franchi, Stoeger and Uberti USA brands under the Benelli USA umbrella.

For more than 100 years, Chapuis has supplied discerning hunters with exquisite upland and big-game firearms. The company enjoys a superb reputation among hunters for their dedication to designing and producing shotguns and rifles that are as dependable as they are beautiful. The brand is in fact known for being designed by hunters and for hunters, and Chapuis engineers are always on the lookout for continuous improvements to satisfy the demands of the most ambitious users.

Chapuis USA’s product offerings in the U.S. will include the Chasseur side-by-side and the Faisan over-and-under shotguns available in 12, 20 and 28 gauges. Along with the upland shotguns, Chapuis also offers the handsome and hyper-durable Elan Double Rifle chambered in .375 H&H FL, .450-400 Nitro Express and .470 Nitro Express. All models of shotguns and rifles are offered in two grades: Classic (AAA-grade Circassian walnut stock and forend and a laser-engraved receiver) and Artisan (AAAAA-grade Circassian walnut stock and forend and hand-engraved receiver).

Current Uberti USA Brand Manager Tom Leoni will oversee the Chapuis USA brand and will rely on his extensive experience with bringing and marketing premium firearms in the U.S. market. As Chapuis USA’s brand manager, Leoni looks forward to bringing Chapuis USA into the Benelli USA family.
